Oahu Community Recycling provides a unique array of services to meet a diverse array of needs:
Residential: For houses or condominiums, apartment buildings and townhouses. For $24 per month, we provide you with two bins to recycle 1) Newspaper, office paper, white paper, corrugated cardboard 2) Aluminum cans, glass bottles, plastic bottles/containers
Commercial: Weekly, monthly, or “on-call” recycling pickup services for small offices, office buildings, business centers, hotels, and shopping centers. Oahu Community Recycling sets up your entire recycling program customized to your needs, such as door-to-door pickup, and provide you with recycling containers. We also provide information and education on recycling facts and awareness.
Schools: Offered to all schools as an opportunity to bring recycling education into the classroom. The City and County of Honolulu and Oahu Community Recycling provide all equipment and materials for bi-monthly pickups, and students are encouraged to participate in raising awareness among their classmates.
Special Events: Weddings, parties, conventions, concerts, and other gatherings can reduce waste and send a powerful, eco-conscious message to attendees. OCR provides all necessary containers for your event, accommodating aluminum cans, glass bottles, and plastic bottles.
